This past Saturday I was able to actually get a good comparison of my RB5WC vs RB6. We are running the KBRL series here in Arizona and this past weekends venue was rained out so the organizer moved it indoors to where we ran RD1 and where I ran my RB5WC to a 1st place finish.
Same exact layout, same track conditions, over a 20 lap average my RB6 picked up 1.1 seconds a lap over the RB5WC.
Qualified 3rd, worked my way up to 1st. 2 bad laps half way through pushed me back to 2nd and 15 seconds behind 1st. The last 6 laps I was charging and finished 1.8 seconds behind 1st. I decided to change the front tires from what I ran in qualifying which was a mistake (they were inconsistent). Should have just used what I qualified with.
Losi 37.5/32.5 and White/Gold was working great. May even try Gold/Gold next weekend on a higher traction indoor track, but I think for me the White/Gold are good.

race report
Built my RB6, first time it touched the track was on the practice day for the first race in the big regional series. I had heard from others that the car had a LOT of steering and I like a mellower setup. Track was high traction clay with several sections where traction rolling was a problem, and only 1 big jump. I used the setup suggested in the manual but made a few changes.
4 degree inserts in front hubs (with bulkhead set on 25 for a total of 29 degrees)
white front spring
white rear spring
2 internal limiters in rear shocks.
21mm rear ride height
23mm front ride height
1mm under all upright ballstuds
car was really good, steering was kind of mellow and the rear stayed planted. Against this crowd I would usually be struggling to even make the A. This race I qualified 5th and finished 4th overall. The rear ride height was really low but it seemed to help avoid traction rolls in the sweeper. Here is a video of the A2 main, I start 5th with the orange, yellow, and green body...

welcome aboard!
i see you went softer and your car has excessive body roll it appears? any reason as to why you softened the rear that much? i know body roll may have been a concern. just curious.
just seemed the rear was leaning and not rotating as much which is why that purple car is all on you in the corners towards the middle/end of the race

I am not great at setup and I just try a few things and go with what feels best. With the limited time I had this is what I came up with. Maybe I will get some front golds and try gold gold. I was also using 35 weight oil in front and 30 weight in the rear. Maybe I should make the oil heavier?

I just picked one of these up this weekend and I wanted to know how this compares to the DEX210. I loved my Rango but sold it because part support was non existent at the near by tracks. I am new to 2wd drive buggy (driven mostly 4x4 short course and 1/8 buggy) and any insight between the two and the kit in general would be great. In the mean time, I am going to catch up on the previous posts on this thread.

What are the must have springs for the RB6, putting my kit together now and do RB6 springs fit on the FS2 SP 4wd car. $20 a pair I sure hope so.
