The RB5 part is: UM508B, which is the same as the ST Racing block. UM508C is the same as the UM508B, but has been updated for the wing mount - according to the description.

Can I use the ST Alum Rear Pivot Block set on the RB6?

Thanks.
yes you can i use them. you can't use the steel bushings thou use Kyosho Special Suspension Bushing (ZX5, RB5, RT5, SC, DB) - Package of 8 part # KYOLAW32

Just remember you'll need to retune because the kit uses the wide suspension mounts, and with the STRC parts your going to a narrow rear end. If you used the parts they tell you to in the manual that is.

The Lipo holder is raised about 5mm, so the foam gets stuck under that and does not seem to go anywhere. Since I am running the battery a different way, most people will not have this issue. If you choose to run your battery this way and wanted one of his battery straps, you can just ask him to put that "tongue" in front to hold the foam. He would have no problems with that...

Thank you and fastestwon - thanks.

By retune, what in particular? My apologies for such a general question, but this is my first foray in the 1/10 buggy scene. Being a nitro 1/8 buggy and truggy guy, I'm amazed at how changing a 1mm collar - for example - will change the set up on this thing.

This car is very sensitive to setup changes. By retuning I mean your going to be putting on a rear end that is 1mm narrow on each side of the car. What that does to your setup you'll have to see and compensate for. my guess would be a loss of some rear stability. Geometry would be off from stock on the entire rear end of the car.

Honestly, start with the stock setup, and put 35wt shock oil in the front and 27.5 in the rear. Then tune from there. You really just need to change a couple camber links after that.

Do you plan on making the trip out to fastlane raceway in blue springs any time soon?

Finally, completed this new baby of mine! As always I took my time with the build up so that I can get to fully enjoy the whole process and experience. As usual with Kyosho, everything fit nicely.

Try to keep the whole wiring as neat as possible.

Follow Jared style with the placement of ESC and receiver

Happy with the soldering work, glad I still can remember how to do it correctly... (I guess)

Finally, see what happen to my friend new RB6, he took it out last Saturday and after a few run dented the chassis quite badly and today he tired to bend them back out and that's what he got.

any word on the Avid Triad slipper for the RB6?

We should receive the parts this week, so after some photos and QC, they'll be online by next week. We will also have a fresh batch of Triad clutch sets for order as well.

Rear stability... Not something I would want to give up. I'll just go w/ stock and focus more on staying off the pipe.

Thanks all.
