I sold all of my tlr springs do I wouldn't be tempted to use them. My Kyosho golds will be here next week but I want to try the stock springs first.

Idk man, i ran stiff springs in my B4 rear for a long time before trying something softer and gaining lots of steering. The rear was too stiff and not letting the weight transfer side to side, especially at high speed

Maybe try standing up the shocks so they react faster? probably have to do the same on fronts or go softer there as well and reduce pack overall? That just until you get the golds .

Tire/Insert couldnt be the issue in my case Im running 34/70 on gearing, i found this to be the cause, But car felt quicker and lap times were faster. But it wasnt steering as tight off power. I threw the Kyosho Stock back on and tried it outside on concrete, Felt the same and noticed it was still slightly the same. Went back in, Swapped for TLR yellow and it did help out a bit,
But that was on concrete, So I'll have to wait until Sunday to drive the car.

Did you get new front tires...Those front suburbs are not that good at west coast, they over grip and cause a push.

typical front end parts(arms, tower(out of stock), caster, and steering blocks) and I'm guessing buy an aluminum steering rack as they have been breaking, but other than that there isn't anything.

I'd start with the base japanese setup. Should be pretty good from there as long as you choose the right tire . All the kyosho steering racks are out of stock except someone is making aluminum and another company is coming out with theirs on the 19th. If you need rear grip add some .5* rear hubs or 0* if you like the strength of aluminum.

I used a B4 CF strap to make a CF strap for mine and bought the thumb screws, cut the head off a M4 screw, cut the battery post, and threaded an M4 screw into it so I had a screw down battery hold down.

Bfast diff or ceramic thrust and carbide diff balls. Kit ones are also good.

You'll find the directions are strange and there is a lot of slop in the shock top eyelets. Kyosho says to tighten down the 4.8mm ball until it squishes and takes the slop out(which I find goofy). Be carful to not over tighen the plastic nuts that are called for or get some flanged M3 nuts. Use care in the direction of the arrow of the steering rack when putting it on unless you want to take it apart later.

Use the black SP gear in the transmission it will last longer although you will find 2 white ones in the box.

The shock ends are in different places/bags that are called for in the directions it takes some looking.

Don't spend 10 minutes looking for slipper washers that are metal... they are on one of the trees. The manual is goofy. Look at the pictures and if you don't understand ask here I'm sure someone has run into it... I understand japanese and I still didn't get it sometimes!

At West Coast...the new proline suburb front tires have way to much front grip and it causes the front to dig in too much and then you loose corner speed. When it digs in it also induces a push , because the front end has more grip than the rear. It will plow through the sweeper and that is why I recommended a different front tire for Bran.

I've been loving my RB6 and the disccusions on this thread, but did you know that their are other countries in the world besides the USA, I know shock horror, but for the best prices and parts availability, try RC Champ in Japan (Also where the Kyosho RB6 was made), just email them what you need and they will quote you.
I received my RB6 more than two weeks before anyone in the US and paid $445US including freight to Australia.

Last thing I have with my car is push, off power or on power. More then likely it is tires up front. I only softening up my rear springs to get rid of chassis bounce on the rutted parts, not to control push. Is your diff too tight?
