RB6 Aluminum Steering Racks
Wow, thanks for the awesome response. The first twenty parts are almost gone. We are going to make 50 more tonight so as to not run out. Keep the orders coming. Any thoughts on other parts for the RB6, such as an adjustable rear hinge pin holder, aluminum steering arms or anything else that you come up with. Trying to help pay for my R/c addiction.

Can anyone tell me if the long/short/medium shock ends are included in the kit? I saw that Cpt switched to the medium(I think) to reduce droop and help calm the rear end.

Thanks!

I used mediums I got from a team driver.. I looked on all my trees and could only find the tiny short guys. (which I tried, by the way, which were WAY WAY too short to make work).

medium and long were in my box in a separate bag. Had no issue with getting the shocks to the japanese setup measurements.

Matt I have all 3 sizes I'm sure...

Matt... Since the long ones are pretty easy to find, There shouldn't be an issue just cutting them. I can measure the overall length of the mediums for you tonight when I get home... if you want, you don't want to cut too much. If you DO cut them, you want to make sure you use a nice set of digi-calipers to make sure you have them cut/ground down to the identical length.

Thanks Dave and Brandon. Yes please on the measurement if you get a chance.

I have shoulder surgery coming up very quickly and will have a four month recovery so I am freaking out about the little details. Soon all I will be able to do is just read the forum and stare at my K cars....

My kit came with 4 mediums in a seperate tiny bag, not on a tree.

Nothing special except maybe not overtighten the case.
People tend to run 1000 to 3000.

Heard Kyosho have steel gears available for the 1/10th onroad cars and they fit.

The car is really awesome, ran it only as a Mid motor.
Very happy, they did a great job on a lot of things.
Part number for the steel gear set is VZW-424, it's around $50 a set.
