Battery Run Time

Hey there. I was wondering if someone could clear this up for me. My car is a converted AE RC8, with a Tekin RX8 and a 2000kV motor. I have a 5000mAh battery 14.8V, and the guy at Tekin said I should get around 8-9 minutes of runtime! My dealer said I should get 1/2 hr-45 minutes. Can someone straighten this out for me? I'm really confused. If its 9 minutes, I'm going back to nitro! Thanks!

Eco, RX8, 2050, 5000mah, 15 minutes are not a problem, 20 minutes in a conservative practice. It's about not wasting energy when not on the racing line. I suppose if I spent more time in the marbles spinning donuts with my wheels going mach 9 I would get the short run times some complain of. btw you know that blipping the throttle thing gas guys do ? do that with an electric (as I see many do) yup, wasted electricity....
