Default Toughest 1/8 Buggy around - Losi or Associated?

So these two buggies have great parts support at my local track. Although Ill get a EB48 when it comes out, I want something to race right off. So Ill get either a Losi Eight 2.0 E or a Associated RC8.2E.

I need to know which one is built like a tank. Something that can take all sorts of damage and keep on rolling.

Also which one is plain easiest to work on. Thanks for any info!

Well il just say this on this site all you will get is bias views so its up to you.

Ive own a Losi Eight 1.0 buggy and truggy and there pretty tough i never ran the RC8.2 buggy but ive been running the RC8TCE for a while and the only thing ive broke on it is one shock rod after a long period .

Just bent some things on it thats it.

The front axles can bend if you run full droop or to much dual rate but you can just bag it out with a hammer to make them straighter and if there a little bent to be honest i dont notice it on the track.

There pretty tough the RC8.2/RC8TCE series.

As far as how easy one is to the other i would say the Losi is a little easier to work as far as teardowns but the RC8.2 is close .

But the Ring and Pinions on the RC8.2 are pretty smooth and strong from exprience 0 issues .

I would say get the RC8.2 since it comes with all the upgrades and its priced pretty good.

But the Losi eights and the RC8.2 are both good .

In 1/8th scale, almost every one is built like a tank.
In my opinion you can't go wrong either way! The newer models are really nice, they have fixed most of the issues the earlier models had.

Good luck!
