I have an old RC10 Team Associated Team Car, an off-road 2wd 1/10 buggy that was fairly high-end for it's time. It still runs very well, other than some old battery packs which drain very quickly. It has in it right now a Reedy Sonic 2 12 turn double brushed motor. I also have a sapphire 17 turn single brushed motor. I drive the car mostly on-road. Which motor would give me better top speed, and would I need a new speed controller for the 17 turn?
