Very cool. I always wanted to experiment with cars, but this takes it to another level.

Open diffs??? I wonder what they're going to seal the diffs up with and that spur gear/slipper/center drive assembly will be cool and technical. I also like the forward mounted motor and split packs. Its freakin tight if you ask me....

The current project by a member of offroad-CULT is a custum built 4wd (still under construction) that uses B4/XXX-4 Suspension parts and TC-3 diffs.
Everything else is custom made (chassis, bulkheads, slipper ...) and it is not produced in a machine shop, but by a custom built CNC-router and lathe owned by the constructors.
The drivetrain will of course be sealed by lexan covers.

The buggy ("GEKKO") should be finished by the start of the seasson and will be raced on an austrian national level and may appear at the next european championships if it does well.

Due to some agreements, this project is offroad-cult-exclusive till the presentation site for the GEKKO is up, so please do not spread the pics around.

Oh no!

My bad! Sorry for posting the images. I figured since they'd been posted on your open to the public forum I figured it'd be ok to post them on other forums.

I'll edit the post and remove the links to the images. Sorry again!

no problem, it's just that the team behind it don't want to present a buggy that is neither finished nor did achieve anything yet.

Due to a lot of people that PM'ed me, the presentation site will be available in English too (so no crappy online-translators needed )
