what a coincidence. I was looking at the 8.5 today as well. I think its cheap enough to take a chance on either way.

The vent holes in the can concerns me some. Although the track I run on is pretty hard packed and next to no rocks. Has the holes been a issue to anyone out there?

I am running the Tacon 1/8th motors in both my E buggy and E truggy and they work great. I use them for racing only. The only problem I have had is the rear cover screws backing out. I just put some thread lock on them. Real strong motors.
