Velineon 3500 motor spun magnet ????
Hello everybody, I have heard of people that re-glue there magnet, using either a high temp lock tight or some other type of things. I was wondering if anybody has tried to do this, how did it work out and if you could post some pictures or let me know how you did this. Thanks

All right so everyone out there who has ever overheated there velineon motor and it just makes that stupid noise and really doesn't go any where. Well simple enouph its a spun magnet. The glue that traxxas uses to glue the magnet and the shaft together. After search the web and finding nothing, I have figured out a way to get it taken apart just using a deep socket and a rubber hammer. By taping it gently (harder at time if necessary) I was able to get the 2 end caps and magnet off the shaft. Now it's time to decide what type of glue to use. I have seen some things as JB weld, epoxy, some thing called CA and baking soda ?. All options must be able to withstand high temperature at least 300 F. Even tho it's not running that hot, why not.

+1 I've heard of many people using this without a problem afterwards. Just get the magnet on there as straight as you can and the motor should last you quite a bit longer.
