Im not sure but I will ask him next time we talk. See you for the fathers day race at FZRC?

Do these ESCs have settings similar to the 323 STOCK software that the speed passions have? Reason I ask about that software is if I recall correctly, it has features that go beyond the setting capabilities of the standard programming box from speed passion.

Any plans for a Brushless Hobbies 1/8 ESC?

I think the software has more settings that the programming box offers but I am not 100% sure all the options as I don't have a programming box.

Yes a 1/8 ESC is in the works...

Yes there are more options when you use the flash usb to program.

I wonder if this options show up when you use the LCD Programmer like the Hobbywing one that works with the SP ESCs ...

Cool that a 1/8 is in the works. Wonder what pricing will be in comparison to what SP is doing with the whole Silver Arrow for $63 + shipping deal.

Can someone post dimensions with length, width, and height designated. Don't want to assume.

yes, I believe they are shipped in blinky mode. Ok, I understand that blinky mode is locked and there are a few other programs you can load. But aside from the settings in the windows usb application, do these different programs do anything "special", like hidden settings?

although i dont actually own a bh esc i do own a yellow esc from ebay . i reckon these esc will do exactly the same as the one i own and the hobbywing and speed passion esc . i like the hw 930 stock profile the best , which is the latest boosted firmware . i run this firmware with an 8.5 motor in a 4wd buggy with no problems . to change the extra settings (boost ect) u will need the lcd box or have your laptop with u at the track . in essence these will do all that the hw sp speedys can .

the HW or SP LCD will work.

The BH usb should work to upload diff programs to a esc that come with the BH computer software.

That is all a LCD is, a usb link from the esc to the computer.

Will be in IL (Fathers Day) for a race than TN the next week.

May make it to FZ sometime in July.

Thought :-) Wonder if he would start selling the usb link as a separate part, like HW and SP does.

ok, my BH 120 came in. I had to take the fan off, it wont fit in my buggy. I used your setting but i went 24/81. I run it up and down the street trying to heat it up with stop and go, hard acceleration without breaking the tires loose. I found the esc very smooth as others have said. Breaking was very smooth also. After 3+ minutes up up and down the street, I was able to hold my thumb on the motor and I temped it at about 115-120 and the esc at 100. I could really feel the timing/turbo at 15k, which is where i set it. I start smooth and really punched at the mid band. Aside from 2 features, I really like it better than the mmp. Never turn off the radio when the esc it on, cause it wanted to haul ass. I will need to setup the fail safes on my receiver in case I lose signal. The MMP does nothing when the radio is off, just sits there. But meh, nothing worth getting the MMP over the BH. Also, I like how the MMP can be configured with the power from the USB port, having to use a battery is a little cumbersome, but again, not a deal breaker. I suspect my mmp will be on ebay soon. I just need to try a 550 4 pole in my sc10 4x4 and see if it starts on fire, lol. but it really nice in my b4.
