Default 10th scale tires : holeshot 2 equivalent or better.

I think you would classify our club track as hard pack clay but it gets a dusty layer on top that cloggs a little when wet down. Holeshots work well. I want to put an order in to Amain for half a dozen sets of tires and rims, but not sure what would be equivalent to the Holeshots or better. Lookin at the jconcept range.

Double dees in jconcepts. Also AKA has the impacts which are similar. IMHO the AKAs wear less compared to the equivalent proline or jconcepts compound but maybe its just me...

If the tires pack up when wet try a bar pattern like Suburbs, Barcodes, Rattlers, Beams, etc.

Panther Rattler or Raptors, I'm going to pick up a set of boa's also. I think they will be the winning tickets in the wet.

Losi Red X2000s/3000s when the track is dry and a little dusty.

Check out the JConcepts Hybrids. They are suppose to have the same side bite as the double dee, with a lot more forward bite. Also look into the JConcepts 3D's. I think they will be the go to when the track is in between square pin tires, and bar type tires. Or they might work better than each in a certain condition. Both of these tires are brand new for 1/10th scale, so you unfortunate r/c racers in the dark ages down under probably haven't heard of either of them. Hybrids are available on amain, 3d's only directly from JC.
