Default 7 HPI Vehicles

Between my roommate and I we own 7 HPI vehicles. Yes two of them are Recon's but they are still cool little machines. I am so happy with the product they bring to market. The Trophy Truggy Flux and Savage 2350 are two of the most fun rigs to drive. My roommate would argue that the 1/5 Baja is the most fun.

Anyway, how can a company make such good products and have the absolute worst customer service I have ever seen? Scott Mac has been emailing me for over a month now. He would send an email, I would immediately respond and then it would be 5 days until I heard from him again. My roommate has been waiting on warranty parts for over five months and I have been waiting for over 2. Funny that their website always says 93% of parts in stock.

One thing you can try to do is call them instead. The couple of times I've needed to use customer service for anything R/C related (in my case using Horizon's and Great Planes CS). I got my responses and service promptly.

I've noticed that it's quite common for people to use email instead of phone right now, probably because it's easier. That being said any companies customer service must be flooded with emails and it probably takes time to sort through it all.

I've never dealt with HPI's CS myself but I they might take a phone call more seriously than an email. Be courteous and explain your issues and you might get what you need from them much quicker.
