Nice paint! Quick question about the v.2 version, do you have to cut the motor shaft so it's not too long & it may hit the battery? I saw that there's a spacer that comes with the kit...is this spacer used to push the motor back so you don't have to cut the shaft?

I'm surprised that there's not too many postings about this car. Seems that everyone who has this car has glowing praise of it. I know I'd like to see & read more about it.

No you dont have to cut the shaft, I'm running a 1900 tekin. The shaft does come really close to the batteries and I may cut it just to be safe but only by 1 or 2 mm. The spacer is 4mm long.

I wish i could share more about how mine drives but it has rained out the last two race. I can say I enjoyed building it, the diff gaskets were thick, all the screws were grouped and labeled, and everything felt nice and smooth.

Ok cool, thanks or the info! Are the shocks 16mm or 15mm? Just wondering for spring purposes. Thanks!

They are 16mm. As for pistons team c, rc shox, or associate will work but the ghea 16 are just a hair too big. They fit inside but they don't move.

Here is a set up to try i like it in a lot of places! give it a try. the only thing i mess with most of the time is where the shock mounts to the a arm. If the track is blown out and/or i need faster steering i go to the inner holes on the front and the rear arms. Forgot ride height in the rear didnt even see it there...29-30mm

Did anyone try to mount the lipo battery in a flat mounting position yet? Could be better for the center of gravity. Needs only to raise the holder for 2-3mm. I think it's worth for a try.

I've been running my T8e for about 4 months. Running pretty close to stock, other then going up to 7k in the center diff. I have run my batteries flat from day one with no mods at all. Love the car. Handles rough tracks really well. I have run both RC8e and the Serpent 811e. Handles better then both of those.

What does the T8e weigh compared to other buggies? I've seen the nitro car run and it looked very good.

My T8Ev2. I own quite a few larger races with it! It's a solid reliable car. I've raced both Losi and AE. IMO just as good if not better than the competition.

I think my car clocked in right below 8lbs fully dressed except for tires. It was .4lbs lighter than my AE 8.2e with the same, or equivalent equipment
