Do you nail them down to keep them in place?

I used wooden stakes that you can get a Home Depot or lowes. 8in worked best iirc.

I used a tiller to loosen up all the dirt in the space I had to work with for a track which was 50x25. I then used a landscaping rake to form the track and jumps and then packed it with a tamper. The track turned out nice but its kinda small. I'm running mini 8ight's on it now but I wish I could find a 1/10 4wd buggy that took stick packs instead of saddle. The best scale for my track would be something like 1/12 but don't see much in that means. Wish I had 4x more space so I could run 1/8 truggy but the wife won't let me tear up that much yard.

I saw a article with a 180 degree view from the drivers of a track where you put your sections from most easiest to hardest, like a graph. Anyone know where i can find something like it. I want to send it to a track owner ?
