Default EZ-Run brushless motor bullet connector unsoldered itself?

I was running my truck practicing long jumps & the bullet connector unsoldered itself from the motor , I just noticed soldering it back on the connector looks almost burnt.

It doesn't make much sense to me how it came off because I run low enough gearing on my pinon (14) & high on my spur (90) it shouldn't overheat & I only run a 2s lipo.

Anyways here's a video.

Should I just solder my wires directly to the solder points on the motor & add bullet connectors halfway from the ESC & Motor?

High resistance between the halves of the bullet connector. The black stuff you're seeing is whatever it is that got stuck in there. Also discoloration from heat.

Clean the bullets up real well (wire wheel on a dremel, etc), and they should be ok again.

Thing is the burnt colored one no longer has tension against the female bullet connector, the male connector is completely flat (it doesn't have the bulge that keep the connectors snug).

hile you are at it, change those banana plugs to this type, they have much better contact.
