Green slime on 1/8 scale diff o-rings
I have a question is it ok to use green slime on the o-rings do you have to use only a little of it to prevent it from mixing with the diff oil ?

You can use it, better than nothing I suppose. But, I would highly recommend a thicker, HD grease, such as Mobil1 Synth red, or Maxima. I use a lot and grease everything...

Green slime is very good for this. It's not as thick but it doesn't react with the silicone like some petro greases can. I use another suspension grease on my diffs and it works very well.
The heavier stuff like Mobil is probably better for the outdrive/case bushing surface (the grease's real function) but I have never had a problem with the suspension stuff. It's still there when I change out the diff fluid every few races.

Lots of guys use Mobil 1, I've never heard of anyone having any problems with it. Seems to work very well and you can't beat the price.
I just mentioned the compatibility because Mobil 1 works great, the waterproof marine grease 3 spots down on the shelf might not.
