darryl, I am still willing to solder your stuff for you as we discussed today. the ESCs you have are excellent. After I solder the wires for you, you will be fine. If you are wanting plugs on the motor wires just order some. Soldering motor wires is pretty straight forward.

Think of it like this, after you solder the wires on the speed control and motor and put on plugs, its pretty much the SAME thing as running a castle setup.

Anyway, if you find you still want to go that route or sell the speedos, just give me a holler.

Yeah, either take this guy's help^^^^^^^^, and or watch some youtube videos and practice.

This hobby requires the ability to solder. Learn to or let "connectors" guide your gear selection...

Best tip you can get for soldering is; be as quick as you can on the job. Keep the iron on there, and it gets dodgier and dodgier.

yes it is. i too struggled with soldering. that is until i got a helper. I forget the name, but it is a stand, with several articulating alligator clips. it makes a world of difference. also, use flux. my soldering joints are clean and awesome now that i have that help and use flux. good luck

Best helper I have found that was free was to take a set of needle nose pliers and put a rubber band around the end. That will help hold anything nice and still. And for what you are soldering, pretty much doing the battery plug side is where you want that. not much really. Tin both sides with solder, and your pretty set. Tinning is half the battle.
