Blitz is the most durable. However if I'm racing that would not be my choice.

i disagree ive actually owned all the sc trucks and raced, xxx-sct with captured ends on steering rack is most durable, went the whole race season without breaking 1 part on 2 trucks. sc10 including FT edition i would always snap shock mount screws or any random screw and occasional chassis, blitz ball diff sux hard and always blew up. slash is not a real race truck. the best handling imo is the kyosho sc-r not the regular one. thats all i run now, sc-r SP feels so good on the track.

Look at Youtube.

The most durable SC around is the Slash. There's a reason the thing is everywhere.

Might not be track worthy, but you can beat the everliving crap out of one.

Give me the sticks to any SC and I'll break something within 15 seconds... To be brutally honest... Just buy a slash... They are fast, durable, and parts are READILY AVAILABLE at your LHS... Sure I own one, call me bias (you prolly are too).... But the bottom line is (read my first sentence)... So you might as well buy something you can get parts for on the reg.....

I own a Slash and a FT SC10 and have found them both to be very durable. Especially the Slash. I was so mean to that truck when I was just bashing (before I started racing and actually learned how to take care of a truck) Seriously, I think about what I put that truck through and it's a miracle I didn't break the chassis in half.

The SC10 is a pure racing truck for me, I never bash, but I do take some hard crashes on the track and it's standing up like a champ thus far...

Have to disagree on the Blitz on the other hand... My dad owns one and it's the biggest pain in the arse ever, I am fixing it for him after every race. Yes he's a big time novice and he crashes alot, but he also goes slow and the hits are nothing compared to what I see on the track all the time. I guess it just depends on what you get and everyone gets a lemon once in a while, but seriously, the last thing I would ever call the Blitz is durable. It's a fast truck, good for racing, but fragile.

In my limited experience I would say the Slash is "most durable" especially if you throw big bores on it. And it's a great basher.

Stock for stock, I reckon the Blitz is a lot tougher then a Slash. Sure, if you fill the Slash with RPM, it's probably the toughest SCT but the Blitz is probably just as strong (when it's stock). I've heard the Blitz ESE is a little bit more brittle then the RTR Blitz.

Slash is the most durable. Me and my brother have one and just run it off ramps and kill it and only thing we had to replace was a steering servo and a body cover

I restarted the hobby 2 years ago with a blitz RTR, I have yet to break a part. Now my 6 year old is racing it and bashing it in the yard. I still have yet to replace a part due to it actually breaking. I have moved to a Losi XXX-SCT which I feel is pretty durable as well. However if you are looking for something to Bash/Race in a stock class and want it to be durable I would go with the following 2 choices.

1. Slash
2. Blitz

The Slash hands down..the blitz is a better race truck but the slash is a basher..buddy of mine kids have them and they beat their slashes with no mercy, zero maintance in a year of racing them....that's tough..

Slash. It's a tank. If you are looking to go bashing, this is THE truck to get. Easy to maintain, parts are cheap and plentiful. Zillions of upgrades available. In the bashing world, it is King.

Definitely a slash. More shops carry Slash parts than HPI parts too.
