Up on Pinion = More Speed
Down on Pinion = More Acceleration

Up on Spur = More Acceleration
Down on Spur = More Speed

What Motor are you guys running? And what type track?

I am about to buy a new Tekin system and wondering what size motor I should go with. I run on medium to large size dirt tracks, was thinking about an 8.5T to a 10.5T.

Any suggestions?

i think i'll be going down to a 75t spur. I have a Dex210, 17.5 blinky on 75/26 and it absolutely SIZZLES.

Running on a small 30x60 clay track here.

thats undergeared mate try bumping it up to 75/34 and end bell timing for correct 2wd buggy gearing

gearing for blinky 10.5 Truck try 81 spur / 28 or 29 pinion its a nice combo on a Tekin system

Definitely go to a 75 or 78 spur gear. I'm running 75/28 in my DEST with 17.5 and that thing is on fire for a stock truck.

I would also go to a bigger pinion on your DEX210, you shouldn't loose much torque and it should be much faster down the straight!

Default Shorty Pack in Stock Truck!

If any of y'all haven't tried running a shorty pack in your stock truck, I highly recommend it. I put one in mine last night and WOW what a difference, it jumped further, had more power and more speed. Give it a shot!

my truck was already out performing most of the trucks in the class, now it may get rediculous!

What is the weight and size differance between the shorty and other battery you ran? I have been debating getting a shorty pack as well.
