Yeah that is sooo doable. Thanks a bunch. I have a T4.1 that I'm getting ready to unleash soon and wanted to be able to swap rims back and forth between the two trucks if at all possible.

Next question... What is the axle diameter/thickness?

Default DEST210R V2?

I haven't gone through this whole thread to read...I'm curious to know if anyone has seen/heard of a Version 2 for the DEST210R?

Still no response to my emails from anyone at Hobbico/Team Durango/Tower Hobbies on the subject.

No word of a V2 ST as of yet. What I have heard though is TD will be releasing 5 new vehicles here at some point.

Only two of them left on the web for $139.95

Somebody get 'em so I can stop worrying about Stadium Truck class racing with a new platform. And also I can take the DEST210R off my watch list then.

I'm not here advertising in any way... I'm just letting this thread's users know of a great deal.

Yeah, I was reading the thread about Team Durango refocusing at the club level racing. I just have wait and see, like everyone else, what comes about from the "refocusing" thing Team D is doing. I want a Team Durango vehicle really bad. Everything about their vehicles gets my attention.

My gut feeling is... there will be a DEST210RV2 and I should have jumped on the DEST210R band wagon when I had the chance.

2 or 3 of which will be 1/8th scale vehicles. It was announced that TD was revamping the 1/8th scale lineup.

Actually, this link has 4 vehicles:

I would bet $ against this. I think it's possible for a DESC210Rv2 but I'm not liking the chances for the DEST210R.

Be interesting to see what happens with the ST. Losi dropped theirs, but Associated is still selling theirs and Kyosho has one. In some parts of the country (like Florida) ST was making a comeback this summer. We've been struggling to get the class going consistently at our local track.

This is the only place I know that still has any ST's, and they only have 2 left. Good deal too! http://www.ebay.com/itm/Team-Durango...item1e89a83d37

The only thing that suggests to me that there might be a DEST210V2 is that the body went from being discontinued to going back into production. Why would they do that if there was no future for the truck?

going to copy and paste this to share my experience with this kit.

i have had the t4.1 with t4.2, team c, and drove others like kysoho, 22t.

i really like the durango ST. in my opinion its the best car they make. I have had the desc210r and the dex410 and those are gone because of the constant problems. the dex410 could drove good but finished about half its races and the des210 never really felt settled enough for my tastes.

I race ST on bigger outdoor tracks which are hard on parts. I have had little problem with mine. Mostly problems i have had is rear arms when it gets cold. i have broke prob 2 or 3 on it which i bought it in January. front arms are solid to me. just rear. which still is not bad for the bad crashes it takes and i have raced and practice with it a lot. you can get rear arms. no broke hubs, no broke carriers, steering parts, etc. every now and then ill see a loose screw which i tighten up and go. Come to think about it. im still on most of the stock bearings. and I have raced it at least 25 times and practice numberous times. just a few wheel bearings been replaced.

The upgrades i have on mine??? well i have the sumo rear trans brace. I did not break the ear off the trans case. I just bought the brace as cheap insurance because its a pain to change the whole case. I also have the gear diff in mine. I do not like ball diff and the the diff does not leak with the different suggested seals.

i think in the 11 months i have had it. I may have popped off a ball cup once or twice. Which is saying something considering the jumps i take it on over and over. They have holes in the stock ball cups so you can take the stud out without popping it off. and hold it easier when making adjustments.

I run 22t springs on mine cause i could get them easier.

one thing that pained me is you could not find the body. but now you can. so i suggest you get a spare at tower.

How does it drive? in few words. i love it. i have it set up for a slick track and it shows. It shines for me. I like it better than the AE and that is hard for me to say since I actually like AE. it consistenly finsishes toward to the top of the pack and has quite a few wins to its credit on club level.

so in summary don't be afraid. just get a couple extra pair of rear arms(boil them for a few minutes to soften them up a bit, the sumo brace, a spare body and go raceing. The only other ST I would even consider getting right now is if AE impressed me with a great T5

Been racing my ST every week and sometimes twice a week as well. I've been doing pretty well with it and seem to be getting it dialed in a little more each week. The only upgrades I have on mine is the rear suspension hanger in aluminum and Associated slipper pads.

For those who have converted to 12mm hex, just an FYI, the RPM Revolver wheels don't fit. The offset is correct, but the plastic is too thick at the center where the nut goes, and the threads on the DEST210 axles are very short.
