Sup guys I'm stuck on the build, can anyone take pics or tell me how in the world the front hubs go? According to the directions you use both bearings on the inside and outside of the hub correct, and do you use the metal or plastic washer/shim on the nut? Thanks......

I took pics of the front hubs that came with my kit, now that I think about it these don't even look like the right ones. They look like they belong to the dex210 buggy:

If I'm right I'm going to be pissed because the only other hubs that came in the kit are for the rear......

Aren't the hubs the same on the buggy as they are the truck? Just with a different axle to use the hex?

I don't know, I've never owned a durango until now....... I just don't see how the bearings are supposed to fit on both sides of the hub unless the inside bearing is supposed to just stick out......

I checked pics online for the DEST210R, and I believe this is what the front hub is supposed to look like:

I see, I would think there would be an insert that holds both bearings. They list the part number as the same for both. No instructions online yet so Im not sure.

I seem to recall them being in a separate bag by themselves.

I looked through everything, I keep all the parts and bags in one part of the box and all the trash (bags, plastic pieces) in the other part of the box. Its not there, luckily I remembered that I ordered a bunch of spares and sure enough I ordered a set of front hubs so I'm good to go on the build. I did email durango about it though. Still haven't made it to the shocks bag to where users were missing parts there so I'll find out tomorrow whether or not I'm missing anything else..........

Oh BTW I'm starting to appreciate AE's manual/directions more and more as this build goes along.........

Having built 6 Durango kits, this one was not too bad. Now if they would lighten up the shading on the pictures, my eyes could actually see what I'm supposed to be doing. I think it would be nice to have some setup tips in the back of the manual, similar to what AE and Losi do.

My 2nd kit will be here tomorrow, and hopefully it has the spindles in it.

Nice on the 2nd kit, do you plan on running a mid motor on one and rear on the other?
