bettle shocks are in the middle of chassis right? not like this one on the back ??

Mix of both IMO. MB and BF used the same red chassis, the tires are MB pattern but the wheels are BF (MB had gold chrome wheels), shocks are BF but the yellow lower spring cups are MB, the shock mounts on the rear are an aftermarket part. Personally I think it started life as a BF.

Also, the rear body mounts say blackfoot, the monster beetle ones pointed to the side.

I would call it a Blackfoot, the front shock tower is aftermarket or homemade as well, can't tell from that pic. I would guess a JG conversion part from back in the day but could be wrong on that.

you looking to sell it or what? It's a nice clean piece for it's age, IMO.

The tires in the left corner of the pic would be the correct BF tires, fyi.

The chassis specifically, either a BF or MB both used the same red chassis, both based on the Frog but that was a gray chassis. So this one started it's life as a BF most likely.
