Help with an old, 1999 Traxxas Rustler
I could use some help on my truggy. The thing is, I just took it out after 5 years of no use. I replaced the ESC and Motor a very, very experienced friend (He only drives Traxxas cars and now he owns an E-Revo) happily gave to me and installed. It now works better than before.
But now, I'm looking at easy performance upgrades that would make my rustler super fast. I saw someone made one go up to 60mph, that would cool, but that is basically making my rustler be a 1 minute thing before it overheats. So, if you guys could give me some links and suggestions of what I need to get to get it to go up to 45-50mph. I don't want to spend more than $150. Thanks!!!!
P.S. I think this Rustler from '99 has same chassis as the Slash nowadays. And brushless could be a cool setup if it could be under $150 for everything I need.
