Default 1/8 anti roll bar issue

Finally built my 1/8 RB one and tonight I've noticed a problem with the rear anti roll bar catching the dog bone to diff axle, I've spent 2 hours checking everything out according to the manual and all is correct, I can not get my head around what's causing it.

So can I ask if a 1/8 anti roll bar can be adjusted and bent to fit the area with out loosing the original support it provides.

You may have already checked the obvious, but did you perhaps put the front sway bar on the rear by mistake?

Looking at the instruction manual, they're very similar in shape, but the front sway bar on 1/8 vehicles tends to be a bit narrower. That could be the problem.....

My sway bars rub ever so slightly at max droop and full compression. As mentioned you may have switched the sway bars or your arm position is too high.

I know on my RB one, they are very close at full droop. I will be at the track tomorrow and I will take a good look at mine for you.

Well my elctrics turned up today, I had great success with my heli parts for my trex 500e and 450e a year ago using a lot of components from HK rather than trying to source stuff from home and pay higher cost, I understand if the things fail then it is false econmy but past experience I have got refund on item that I have orderd from HK and so not lost out on the money.

Mine have plenty of room. Is the bar hanging way out of the end link? Only thing I can think of is if the bar was sticking way out the end and if the car was at full droop.

I took a closer look at your pic and it looks like you have the droop screws all the way up in the arms. Once you set your droop you should have plenty of clearance. When my droop was set, the total sock length from bolt to bolt was 114mm.

Ok thanks for guidance on issue, I removed the ANTBs last night and there are slight differencein size so I will go with the larger one at the rear and the narrower one at the front, the manual says to unscrew arms stoppers until there is a
1 MM gap.

Just finished the body, one thing what a nightmare trying to decided on theme and colour, eventualy I decided to go with my new CUBE xc mtb colour theme which is black and metallic gun grey, the paints used was Tamiya rattle cans.

No its done wish I went a lot more colourful and vivid, especially if I decide to enter a few armature races, but I can always change wheel colour.

Hated the colour scheme that I choose, and tried removing the paint with nitro fuel as seen on other forums can say don't do it as this body did not like it ended up cracking, so I've had no choice but to spray the outside and get what colour I decide on then to buy a new body and redo as normal.

So I'm now on the look for a new v2 body, have been running the car and breaking slowly, really nice to drive about.
