I bash my Savage Xs in the front and back yard. I have been looking for an 1/8 scale to bash with out in the open like at the park with my son. I am not hardcore at all. I doubt that I would ever go more than 4s. I was considering a truggy (Tekno converted D8T) or a truggy like MT (Thunder Tiger MT g3). I may also end up racing it. Would a bashable buggy make more sense considering there are not a lot of electric truggy rancing.

if you are planning on racing it, yes a buggy would make more sense if truggy is not ran by you.

4S is plenty for a buggy or truggy for bashing or not. the vehicles are overpowered in general.
