I'd like it to do more than knock on my door.

Reading between the lines I'm guessing that the RS Pro will be replaced with something bridging the current RS series and the RX8, effectively an RS with a fan, able to handle more loads and a stronger BEC. Today's brushless setups and with 4wd mod buggy really seems to stretch the RS Pro compared to others.
With the Hotwire connection debate and need for a laptop or Tekin possibly/possibly not making a program card I wonder if they plan to make a wifi connection possible so that smart phones/tablets can program the esc, then no need to develop and make a program card just the software.

RSX or not, my RS Pro/Gen 2 6.5 boosted combo HAULS some serious ASS in my B44.2! It took me to a hotly contested 3RD place win this weekend.

Thanks guys.

Seeing as this has been getting kicked around the Tekin shop for over a year I won't hold my breath. May throw a bec on my MMP to tide me over.

A 4x4sc capable ESC with a smaller case than the RX8, and some bluetooth programming capability like the speedpassion has would make my day though! And straight from the phone app, without any external modules... ooooh.

I'm curious on the progress of the RSX as well. In the vemo video from the Reedy race back in Jan of 2012 Randy commented that we should be seeing them in 6-8 weeks for public. Did the design get scrapped?

No it wasn't scrapped. Randy stated immediately after the video was released that his eta was a mistake on his part.

Yup that one is on me guys. We chose to hold it back to further its development and it will be worth the wait. Apologies.

I know...I know.

Trust me this one has been on my shoulders the entire time. The team is quite satisfied with the hardware. We're close.

We appreciate your patience.

FYI: 3 RSX's ran at the Pre worlds without issue.

Much praise for the Tekin group. Fantastic people and killer products.

If the RSX is anything like their current or past products, it'll be a class-leading game changer.

Hopefully by September, got a 4x4 I'm going to run in the fall, no speedo for 4x4 and the rs pro is backordered at retailers. The RS Gen2 is awesome, want to put another Tekin in the 4x4!

The coverage of the pre worlds was not so great but I saw Randy was tearing it up in some results.... How did you end up Randy??? did you use the rsx???

I did ok there. I wasn't there to "race" really rather test tires and setups for the team attending Nationals. I figured out the stock gearing for that size of a track(I don't generally race stock) and was able to test tires for the track at the same time.

I ended up Tq'ing stock buggy and should have Tq'd stock truck but dnf'd one round with a mechanical.

I finished 2nd in both, buggy lost a sensor harness, truck made a setup change for the worse.
