Cool. Seems like a buggy to sc conversion. I would imagine a lot like the xray conversion coming out. And of course 1/10th specs...

Don't know why they don't make a true SC, not a conversion. Not legal in some race series if it is a buggy conversion.

I hope its for real. I emailed Mugen about 6 months ago asking them if its something they might put out in the future and they replied "We have nothing to announce at this time, but we are taking a close look at this class because of its popularity and will continue to monitor it". The "nothing to announce at this time" made me think something was in the works but the picture says buggy conversion so its obviously not a production truck by Mugen but i'm keeping my finger crossed.

If this was a true 1/10 SC that Mugen would make i would be all over it theres no 1/8 sc or converted classes at most tracks i would love that though

Mugen should make a 1/10 4x4 sc its a popular class.

And I do not see it on Mugen Seiki's facebook page unless I missed something, so it's probably another company or someone is playing with photoshop and causing pure speculation over nothing.

Well the bumpers look like RPM bumpers for the Slash 4x4 and look how far the wheels stick out from the body ?

Looks like a buggy conversion that anyone could do and it wont be legal at most tracks unless your running it on 2s with 1/10 electrics ...

Not to mention, a 1/8 conversion is a lot of car to move around on 2s.

I guess my question is what has to be the minimum amount of items changed to make it a 1/10 sct versus a "conversion"?

And, if this is marketed as a 1/10 scale sct and fits the ROAR requirements and is ROAR legal, is it then truly a 1/10 scale sct?

It clearly says it is a conversion in the picture. Looking at it, it is a 1/8 buggy under the lid.

It will be interesting to see which way things go because basically the OFNA is more of a 1/8 buggy than a 1/10 truck, but the AE and Losi are more 1/10 based. (Except the SC8 of course)
