I used Tekno front and rear bumpers. They worked the best in my opinion

I used the tekno rear bumper as well. Almost a bolt on, just had to bring the bottom bolts that connect to the hinge pin holder out slightly. I bought the tekno front bumper as well but opted to us the associated sc10 bumper instead.

I originally tried the sc10. Didnt like how it fit or looked. I used the old style Tekno bumper that they are bringing back into production. I just trimmed the bottom to fit where the stock buggy bumper fits.

I wasn't aware there were different versions of the Tekno bumper. I'm not sure why I didn't end up going with it but I think it was because it left the front edge of the chassis unprotected and I have a carbon fiber chassis.

Ya it does leave a gap. I'm still running the aluminum chassis. I've only run mine indoor so it doesn't wear it. I did attach a piece to the bumper to fill the gap. They had the old style which went under the chassis as a skid plate. Then they made a new one that just bolted to the front of the hinge block and didn't go under the chassis. Now they are bringing back the old style.

Nice looking truck. Got a part number for that best fit Tekno unit? Pics of bumper?

Need some 17mm hex wheels, Body and you got a truck.

If you want to be legal it takes a little more to get there. Its easy to cut some off the front A arms to get correct width. Someone with a 7 conversion will have to tell you about the rear arms. My MBX6 has re-drilled stock arms. Looks like they are going to last forever. Once A arms are shorten you need shorter CVD bones from a MBX5 or Caster racing. That's the most expensive part to making it legal width. They also look like a long lasting part.

Great info in this thread. Took me about 2 weeks to read it all, but worth it.

Read pages 40-43, there's a comprehensive breakdown of part options.

Those truggy blocks are expensive, about $50. I would drill/mod a arms instead. If you get lucky and find a set cheap it would be a good way to go because bolt on is much easier.
