Help with futaba mc230cr esc
 

Not sure if anyone here has a futaba esc...or perhaps has delt with similar probs before...

I got a futaba mc230cr esc for my wild willy2 - should be more than sufficient. When i first drove the car in its stock rs540 motor - it ran great (w/ smc 3300 matched packed and a xxxt receiver)! Lots of punch both forward and reverse. But after installing a new trinity monster stock pro in there - significant increase in forward speed for sure - but I can't do reverse anymore! Well..sometimes it does some times it doesn't - it almost feels like it's does not giving reverse enough amp to power it backwards? And when it does gather enough power to go reverse - it rolls slow...Any clue what's going on? Thx guys.
