Default Best Motor for my sc4x4
Here is what I have which will have the most power and best performance?

New venom 550 4200kv motor esc combo
Tekin sc4x 5.5
Tenshock sc401 4600kv
Castle sct 4 pole

Default Reedy Sonic 550 motors a really nice too.

The Reedy Sonic 550 4.5 and 5.5 motos are very strong and run super cool. I watch one at the track last weekend power wheely an SC104x4 down the straights...

I ran the Tekin tonight wasnt all that impressed??? So i put the Tenshock sc401 in and it ran great. Still lookin for more power..

That tenshock surprised me I think it is here to stay. Ill get the gearing right then work on tuning in suspension??

most people around here have ditched there "550" motors and gone back to 4-pole "540" cans like the castle 3800kv 4-pole...

The tekin will be the best if you get the new 14mm rotor for it.

Not the 5.5 though. The 4.5 is a beast with the HT rotor.

The Tenshock is probably the most powerful motor available for the SCTE. The Pro4 is a close second.

No, the Pro4 is a 540 4-pole motor, the SC4X is a 550 2-pole motor. The Pro4 is the ideal choice for max torque. Both work very well, but heavier trucks need the Pro4 power.

+1 Pro4= Losi Ten-SCTE or Jammin or Ofna while SC4X= SC10 4x4 or Durango
