I was wondering if I can use a tekin rx8 with a velineon 3500 kv motor. The motor is 2 pole and I was wondering if it will work. If so, it shall be bought.

yes it will work just make sure you solder the wires the right way so the motor can go in the correct direction.

I dont see why not, rx8 is sensor/sensorless and brushed. atleast that what it said at Tekin...great esc(even though i dont have one).

I want a better one than the vxl 3s. The rx8 can run sensored/sensor less. Any motor I choose will be good then. I am planning on getting the pro4 soon also. I have a slash 4x4. And if I get it now and the esc burns up cause of my temporary 2 pole motor I'll be pi$$ed. Any recommended motors??

The MMP would but if your gonna get a Pro4 get the RX8. I had both on the Pro4 and the RX8 had alot more power then the MMP. Plus Tekins CS is the best hands down.

yeh it would then more then likely stop working or have major interferance issues with some recievers and all other problems

buy tekin buy once IMO

yea buy the mmp and it will die and then he will sit and wait for god knows how long to get it back. im up to 9 weeks waiting on mine
