Cool, thank you.

Just converted my SCTE 2.0 into a SCBE. I have to say the SCBE body rocks. It's nice having a more scale desert buggy based on the proven handling and capabilities of the SCTE... can't wait to drive it.

Besides the body panels and the roll cage for the conversion SCTE 2.0 to SCBE you will also need:

LOSB8154 Ten-T Rear Wing
LOS234009 Spacer Set
LOS235016 4-40 X 1 1/2" Cap Head Screw
20x 4-40 x 1/4 button heads
8x 4-40 x 1/2 button heads
8x 5-40 x 1/2 button heads

and for style reasons, I suggest buying two pairs of the desert claw tires as well LOS43007 Desert Claws Tires

Is that really true? I expected that the 1.0 chassi is too wide with the plastic side panels.
I would like to lear more about the conversions, if anyone already did it.

I don't know about the 1.0. But in in middle of process of building a 3.0 from scratch and going to fit this buggy body on it somehow. The 3.0 is a wider chassis also. I'm going to have to cut the side dams and buggy body railing where they meet to give the rail framing support to the chassis. Oh what fun. Lol

I have had my SCBE for about 2 months now with no issues, until today. Anyone do any upgrades to the front axle stubs, and/or 12mm hex?

I went 17mm with my ten-mt(same chassis). Running bad lands on buggy rims. Handles great. If you aren't planning on racing in a 12mm/1/10th class I think going up on size is more fun.

I was looking at different wheels and tires, but damn if the Ten-SCBE doesn't look way better with the stock color-ring wheels.

Default EXO vs Ten SCBE

Yeah every one I have both the EXO and the SCBE. Look close to the same but not even close. The EXO is 12 screws to get inside. And it's not balanced well takes a lot of finesse to run on a track with lots of jumps. I like my EXO because it's a 4 seater sand car and looks scale with the lights, interior and engine, but it's in no way a racer.
The SCBE is a racer and is only 2 hood pins to get inside. So this can be races and as everyone has said its built off the 2.0 SCTE so with that said its balance well out of the box. For the most part you can even take the TLR 3.0 SCTE kit and get a TLR 8ight wing , the SCBE cage LOS231014 and body panels LOS230014 or 15, and for the most part mounts right up to the carbon fiber shock towers. The frount fits fine the back top brace you don't screw on just the wing mount and it all comes together just fine.
If you want to race a 1/10 4x4 SC buggy the TEN SCBE is it guys. All the TLR stuff will work I have already started.

Zinergy,

how did you go to a 17mm configuration? Can you post photos and list part numbers? I'm interested in seeing how everything went together.
