Flash back to 1990... I had a Tamiya Hornet. It had a Race-Prep 16T motor, a Novak esc, and an aluminum front shock tower. Next, in 1994 i had a Tamiya Blackfoot. I remember I stripped the tranny gears a lot so I replaced those with Thorpe Differentials. Then, I had an RC-10 buggy with the gold-tub chassis and gold shocks. I loved that thing!

Mine was a Jammin X1 CR. Raced that from 06-08 then ran dads MF2 for a month. He Quit so i got his Like new XXX-T CR. Ran that for a year until SC racing took over and killed stadium trucks. raced a Slash for a year. Got out until Mid 2012 and Got a XXX-SCT. Never been so fast In my life. Great truck. Too bad they quit making it.

Tamiya Avante. This is a classy 4wd mean machine. It was great until I slapped that 12 turn in it, things got ugly quick, as in broke parts. I still have it somewhere, graphite chassis.

My first rc car was a Sears Lobo buggy. I would break it and my dad would take it back to Sears and they would give him a new one. We must have gone through about 10 of those. That was around 1984 or 85.
For my 11th birthday, my mom bought me a Grasshopper. I remember she was pissed off when she found out it was a kit and didn't include a controller.
The following year, she bought me my first RC10. I went through several Associated buggies and than started racing trucks when they came out. RC10T with the skinny wheels, then the T2. At this point, I switched to gas trucks with the RC10GT. I had several of these and than switched to Losi. First a LXT, than NXT, than the XXXNT.
Losi XXX buggys....than more RC10GT's...than some XX4's and some Kyosho 1/8 scales...than some more Associated cars...RC8's...B4's...B4.1's...Than Team Durangos...DEX210 and DEX410V3.
I think, counting from my first real RC car, I've raced about 50 different kits over the last 25 years. Racing every weekend burns up cars pretty fast!!!
