6 pole 550 motor

Quick question. Do they (6 pole) need stronger battery than regular 4 pole 550 motor to power up? I am considering the Turnigy 550 motor from hobbyking for a slash 4x4 that runs 2 cell. I battery are nothing fancy. Thanks
