Your BK is competitive as is. Especially in stock class racing. The newer BK2 has better forward bite due to re-working of the transmisson/motor placement. I would go to www.teamlosi.com and go to setup sheets. Scroll down and select "discontinued models" and there is about 15 setups for the XXX that should allow you to prepare the car for just about any track you would come across. I think you'll find the Losi car to be plenty competitive.

Im in the same boat. Same model. I just finally got around to building it. Too bad its obsolete already. The newer one also has more tuning options.

Oh well. Maybe I can convert some of this thing. But for now it seems to be pretty solid , good drive. I wonder how it would fair against my hpi nitro touring car.

I have the trinity speed gem 2 , lrp f1 pro reverse esc , trinity zip nimh 2400 pack , futuba reciever.

The battery was funky at first from not running it for so long but it seems to be coming around.

Im looking to upgrade the motor already and will be getting a new fresh pack soon.
