I've run 2 Tekin RX8/1900 setups and I'm sold.

Most 1/8th scale systems are overpowered as it is, you should never say "I just dont have enough power" if you are running 4s and somewhere between 1700-2100 and geared correctly.

Unfortunately all electronics can be fragile at times, and you'll see failures with tekin, castle, orion, etc, as these little boxes of components handle a large amount of amperage, heat, and shock all at once. Ensure you mount your ESC with cushion and protection in mind. 1/8th scale's are tough, and you may not break an A arm in a bad crash, but your ESC with small components in them might get jarred and cause a failure no manufacturer can completely prevent.

Pick a good system, and maintain and use it correctly, and 1/8th electric is a breeze
