***Mystery*** Traxxas "X" Car
I just check the traxxas website and there is a spinning X. It says it will be released on the 30th of this month. Many people say it is a 1/8 scale and many say that it might be a monster truck or just another 2wd.
Post what you guys think it is?

Somthing good... Theres an "x" theres 4"x"4 so... Im thinkin something with 4wd, 1/8 scale, 4x4 buggy or stadium truck, you never know because they created short course so they might have designed something completely new just hope its great...

wow I wish RC tech had a "like " button like FB!!..nah but it will be a SCB(based on the slash, bandit, rustler, stampede, platform.) Both Kyosho and Losi have SCB's now.I look for AE,traxxas, and a few others to jump on that bandwagon as the class grows in popularity.

I happen to live near the traxxas hq and while talking with the owner of a local hobby shop he mentioned that they (traxxas) had the new vehicle at 2 trade shows but at the last minute refrained from showing it.
if its at or over the $1k mark its got to be 1/5 scale. traxxas has some history in this realm and would make sense. only thing that doesnt jive is that the 1/5 scale world seems to be niche with a lack of places that allow larger than 1/8 scale and a higher price for entry.
either way it will be awesome!

I'm going to go with a 1/5th scale rig as well. They keep talking about their "Big" news and a "Big" release in the near future. I find it hard to believe that Traxxas will deviate from the RTR and basher business model that has been working so well for them.
