Best Short Course Body Poll
Ok, just thought this might be interesting to see what people think, putting up some popular options up from different brands.
I'll put this as both a racing and "bashing" poll, vote on which you think is the most durable AND performs the best (less parachute affect, best handling, etc).
Please comment as to why you voted how you did (experience, results...).
We'll keep this as a sticky for maybe a month, depending on the results

Proline Flo-tek and Flo-tek Silverado. The Proline bodies are made of .040 lexan vs JC .030. The cut-outs have become necessary in SC and ROAR only allows cut-outs on the factory cut lines i.e. Proline Flo-tek, JC Hi-flow, JC X-flow. However, the cut lines on the Flo-tek are located in areas that wont crack and split as easy as the JC bodies cut lines.

I like the Silverado 1500 Pro-2. I tend to choose bodies solely on looks and that's the one I like best. A nice bonus is that is drives and jumps nicer than my previous favorite- the AE 09 Champ. Edition. Durability is on par or better than others I have used, but with the abuse the bodies take I'm happy if I get 3-4 months before I get tired of looking at a beat up body and replace it.

Thus far, ThunderbirdJunkie has been extremely pleased with his XXX-SCT stock lexan with no vent holes cut anywhere.

I picked the Manta (V1 or V2). I have tried the Proline Chevy Pro2 and the Associated body. For some reason the handling seems to be better with the Manta body compared to the other Aero specific bodies. Plus it looks like the angry Chevy bodies of early 2000, which I like.

I'm a Ford man. Raptor Jconcepts is thicker.

Haven't GOT it yet.... so maybe shouldn't have voted... ordered the JC illuzion hi flow cause it LOOKS like BULLET, appears to offer very little resistance, and would THINK it should fly very nicely... shall see in a couple weeks

I just switched from a Flotek to the Jconcepts HiFlow (the #0222 one). It's on a Losi SCTE so the jumping isn't so much an issue but the stock Losi body would acutally start to deform and shake at very high speeds. The Flotek did that far less and the JC ones doesn't do it all. SC trucks are a class where all the vehicles in it would acutally run best w/o a body on at all and the JC HiFlow is the closest thing to that effect I've found yet.

+ 1, take the body of your car and drive it around the track for a few laps-the difference is amazing!
I have used the ae champ 09 body, and it has done well with some shoe goo. Thinking about the flotek, raptor x flow, or the jc high flow body next.
I race on a tight indoor track, so parachuting is that big of a deal, rather being light is more important-but then light bodies usually aren't as durable.
I may try out the high flow or the raptor x-flow and make sure I shoe good it well!
The AE Champ 09 body with just a single coat paint job weighs about 8 oz.
