Default did it

i sort of did that a long time ago. i did not want a chassis cover on my sc 10, so i cut off the sides so it would not hold dirt. if you use the rtr battery hold down, and screw it down on both ends it is as stiff as ever and works great as intended...................thanks

Looks great but I have to laugh at your reason .
You said you are not a fan of Horizon , yet you have Horizon products on your converted buggy .

it is not Losi's fault that Horizon has lousy CS dept. in my eyes. And I wanted it to kinda fool the eyes a bit as well. Thanks for the props fellas. I did what I wanted to do and what I could afford to do. And if the Losi parts I used weren't on my LHS shelves I probably wouldn't have used them. I might have under a $100 in the whole build project since I sourced alot of the parts off ebay for .99 and above.

Thanks for the props fellas. Got it out to the carpet track tonight and it ran well. Snapped an A arm but got back out there and finished second in qualifiers with it in the SC class.Even against 4wd SC's as well. Made the Amain and lost an outer hub hinge pin but fixxed it and finished 6th 2 laps down. Not to shabby for a shake down test session.Wasn't even gunna race it just practice with it but my SC tossed a diff bearing in practice and I was forced to run it or retire for the night.

Sounds like you had a rough night, other than running the SCB.

Looks pretty good! Hope AE decides to manufacture something like that, I would really like to race a dedicated SCB class, they are a ton of fun!
