Default havoc sc pro esc

hello all i just installed a havoc sc pro and a 4.5 turn 550 ballistic motor in a hyper 10tt. my problem is when given throttle the car goes forward but is stuck in the reverse power governed setting. when throttled in reversed the car moves backwards but in the forward 100% power setting.i cant switch the motor wires around because the motor is sensored. and help is greatly appreciated.

i cant switch the wires from the esc to the motor like you can to solve issues like this with sensorless motors because it is sensored

Good gawd!!! Can you say overkill?
Damn! I used to have a TT and I had a 6.5t 550 motor in it and it was out of control! That was with a Losi Excelorin 1/10 scale esc pushing it! A 4.5t would be uncontrollable!

You can switch the outside wires to control motor direction. The sensored motors use Hall effect sensors that are not directional. I agree with Freak that the programming has a rotation setting that allows you to change this without changing wiring. I would make sure you connect A-A and so on.

Do you mean reversing the rotation of the motor or actually changing the amount of power the esc puts out to the motor?

Look at your directions and follow the "One touch programming" This should be the first step you do. This will fix you up.

Here are the One Touch Programming instructions:

With the ESC connected to (at least) a charged battery pack, the receiver, and the brushless motor’s sensor harness:

1. TURN ON THE TRANSMITTER’S POWER
2. PRESS & HOLD ESC’S ONE-TOUCH/SET BUTTON
3. TURN ON THE SPEED CONTROL’S POWER
With transmitter throttle at neutral, and still pressing the SET button, slide the ESC’s ON/OFF switch to ON position.
4. CONTINUE HOLDING SET BUTTON UNTIL RED LED COMES ON
5. RELEASE SET BUTTON AS SOON AS LED TURNS RED
6. PULL TRANSMITTER THROTTLE TO FULL-ON POSITION
Hold it there until the green status LED turns solid green.
Note: Motor will not run during programming even if connected.
7. PUSH TRANSMITTER THROTTLE TO FULL-BRAKE/REVERSE
Hold it there until the green status LED blinks green.
8. RETURN TRANSMITTER THROTTLE TO NEUTRAL
The red status LED will turn solid red, indicating that speed control is at neutral and that proper programming has been completed. Blue & yellow LEDs will also be on indicating Minimum Brake (blue) & Drag Brake (yellow) settings are at levels above 0%.
If transmitter settings are changed, the One-Touch Programming must be repeated.
If you experience any problems, turn off ESC and repeat One-Touch.
NOTE: Whenever the One-Touch Programming is performed, the speed control will automatically revert back to the factory-default settings

I have done the one touch progamming several times the car moves correctly when throttle applied it's just that forward movement power is governed down to the reverse power setting and reverse us at 100% power

Try reversing your throttle setting on the transmitter.
