Brake dust cleaner or Nitro Cleaner?
 

I have learned Nitro cleaner leave a sweat(condesation) after use, but Brake dust cleaner clean wonderfully, BUT it says it may hurt your plastics.

Is there anything out there that is ok to use on the truck/car that WON'T hurt the plastic, leave a sweat? How about taking off the servos/electronics? Do I have to or is there something I can use with out taking them off.

you can use compressed air to clean your truck but it may not get all the stuff off , your better off to take the whole electronic system off and use 409 or some kind of degreaser . then spray wd40 on the chassis it will make for .easier cleaning ..

I use WD40, an air compressor, and an old toothbrush to clean my cars.

So you are saying Nitro Cleaner and Brake dust cleaner are over rated? Waste of money?

Nitro Cleaner works great, you can just blast the dirt and grime off of the car.

But it doesn't do anything better than WD-40 and a toothbrush, and WD-40 won't potentially harm the plastic.

Just like Aaron said it is great for grime and grease. Especially for re building diffs, cleaning your engine internals etc...

If you just spray it on your car in hopes of getting it clean, then you wont be happy. It will take all the oil out of your bearings ETC. It will also leave a dry white color on black plastic. So WD-40 is still needed!

Personally I cant live without having both Nitro - clean and WD-40 in my pit box.

Sounds good. Do you all see like sweat left behind after using the nitro cleaner? I saw it...what would that be from?

that is due to some of the chemicals used in the cleaner.

Should I worry about rusting with that? Or will it dry up? Or should i wipe it up?
