Well first off the XXX-4 is 4WD and i dont know of any beginners starting out with a 4WD buggy
You cant really ask anyone which is better out of the B4 and BK2 because everyone is one sided, like one dude will go er the B4 is way better (which i reckon) and another will be like no way Bk2 rocks, but either way i dont care i like B4's better

All three kits are very good! Do you plan on racing or just bashing? If you plan on using it on a specific Off-Road track... what kind of conditions will you be running on?

If you decide to go with a 4WD, I would recommend the XXX4G+ over just the regular XXX4. The XXX4G+ is more durable and in my opinion handles better as well. It may cost more but the upgraded parts that are included are actually quite cheap as compared to buying them all separately to upgrade a regular XXX4.

As for 2WD between the B4 and BK2.... both are championship quality cars. The BK2 will cost more than a regular B4.... but that is because it comes with all the upgraded parts just like the XXX4G+. You can go with the "Factory Team" B4 which is also more than the regular B4 because it too has upgraded parts included. The best thing for you to do would be to check you local tracks so you can see these specific kits in action. You can also ask the opinions of the local racers and see what they think and recommend. Maybe they might even let you test drive the cars for a bit?!? You really can't go wrong with either. I happen to own both (an upgraded B4 and a BK2) and enjoy them both equally! As my avatar shows though... I am a die-hard AE fan from way back so I do cheer on the Associtaed racers! Best of Luck with your decisions!

Well basically if you prefer threaded shocks the BK2 has em B4 does not, BK2 Also comes with all graphite parts B4 does not, there is alot more aluminum upgrade parts for the BK2 compared to the B4, to me the BK2 is a lil more easy to fine tune the setup verses the B4, but the B4 is a lil more durable than the BK2 but price wise the B4 is a deal but if you want the factory driver pro buggy the BK2 is the way to go.

Hey T Stephens.

YOu have to compare apples to apples.

If you wanna compare the BK2 against an AE car at least make it fair and use the FT B4 for the comparision.

The FT B4 has everything the BK2 has.

$219 for the FT B4 at stormer
$245 for the BK2.

The regular B4 is $169.

Hey , ho TC3Racer87.
I have both AE team B4 and BK2.
Both cars are great, I find the B4 a littlebit faster, even though it looks slower, but lap times show it.
I find the BK2 still easier and more fun to drive and setup is easier. So get both, just kiddn.

If I had no buggy now and only had money for one, It would be a very though desicion, but, I think I would get the B4. I would reccomend the BK2 for a beginner though.

Good luck

Here are my cars.
