who makes the best brushless motor

Unless someone has literally tried them all, no one can honestly say. I have tried quite a few of the top name motors out there and I am pleasantly surprised by my Viper Motors. Great power band and very smooth feeling. Especially when combined with the Viper ESC's.

seems that my brand new ones are better than the $50.00 used ones I keep buying.
They are all pretty close and I think you need to be a substantially good driver to notice the differences.
The only major disappointments I've had were in some of the Venom products. Due to the problems I've had I've never even tried their motors.
My money goes to Tekin.. I don't think they are better than the rest, I just like them, I have good luck with them, and that is what I've chosen to use.

Consider the team powers plutonium series. A relative new comer, but kicking major butt lately!
