Default Aluminum clutches?

Anyone running aluminum clutches? I recently started using a Mugen aluminum clutch with their 1.1 springs on my RB C5 powered Mayhem pro and can't believe how well it hooks up. The only problem is that after a month of racing every weekend the shoes are toast and the inside of my titanium clutch bell has aluminum embedded in the clutch bell which is almost impossible to remove.
Anyone have any success stories with aluminum clutches? Any recommendations for anodized clutch shoes that might last longer without transferring aluminum to the clutch bell?

Aluminum is the standard these days. I have carbon and I like the feel of those plus they are easy on the bell. If you are running a C5 (a monster, from what I hear) you should consider trying 1.0 springs. The clutch will engage earlier and allow you to use a broader spread of power. The car should be easier to drive off of the corners and in lower traction situations.
