Default Disapointed

I recently got a Monster Jam Stampede by Traxxas and wow. First I'll say that I like Traxxas. Ive owned many, many models, but all VXL's, 1/16's and the big boys. But an do they get cheap on the Monster Jams. Bushings in the wheels, generic dry wall screws that rust at even the sight of water, plastic camber links, no foam in the tires. If I would have not got this in trade and actually payed $200+ for it I would have been very angry. I think for that price they could use hex hardware, foam in tires and atleast put bearings in the wheels.
I can only suggest to look past the XL-5's, save up a little longer and get a VXL. Twice the truck, for only $100 more. 2.4, good hardware, brushless, bearings, steel links/rods.

Hence why you should always research a vehicle before purchasing it.
