Questions?? help me choose which motor

Have these 3 motors to work with for a D8 Tekno conversion 1:8 scale and Brushless Revo. Which is best suited for each ? Only running 4s and 2s batteries right now. This is for bashing NOT racing so I will be running them for a while at speed. THANKS !!!

They "say" the 2200's are for monster trucks and the 2650 is more suited for a buggy. but IMHO the 2650 is OVERKILL for buggy unless you maybe run it on 3S... From my experience... I am sure the 2200's will be fin in the other trucks you have!

Default Motors

I have two buggies and wanted to see the difference between the 2200kv and a 2700kv, I got from Kershaw Designs. I am running 4s 5000mah 30c Blue Lipos. The difference in power is noticeable, so basically the 2200kv is more torquey and the 2700kv motor is way faster. I have cooling fans on both motors and they stay within the 135-150F range. So it is a matter of liking and the use you give to your ride. For speed/bashing use the higher kv motor for racing use a lower kv motor for easier control. Hope this helps.

If you are bashing, I dont think it would really matter - Just watch your temps. The 2650 on 4s I would think would be too fast, but maybe for bashing it would be ok?

I race on a 1900 on 4s and I think its perfect (still overpowered, as it seems all 1/8th e buggies are), but great runtimes and temps.
