They are decent but the 40c batteries are better and you can get about 15 minutes in an E buggy with a 2200Kv Castle system . I do like the Gens Ace 40c hardcase packs better .

thanks yea i was looking at the "gens 4c packs" but there only rated at 5300mah though and a little out of my price range for now.

so im looking at getting the zippy pack than.

plus i run a 1/8 e truggy so there heavyer than a buggy so i know the runtime has to be diffrent because of that.

I have both the turnigys and the zippys and I have zero complaints they all balance well and work as advertised . I wont buy any other battery brand .

has anybody tried a 3c lipo on a 1/8 e truggy or buggy with at least "30c to 40c rating" bad idea to run?
i do run with someone who uses a 8000mah 3c, on his e truggy and he said theres enough punch and power without his electrics running hot.

rider: yea i whould get a 4c, 40c lipo but the issue is there runtime rating is rated to low for a main race while running with nitros .

I am not sure I would go with a 3s battery in a truggy. I think the packs will puff really fast. I have seen guys do it but the packs balloon like crazy.
