Default Fun, Cheap, Offroad?

I want to buy something else for offroad bashing and playing at the track, but I can't seem to peel my eyes away from short course. Does anybody know a specific vehicle or class that is fairly cheap and fun? Also tell how much you can find whatever you suggest for used. Thanks (:

You have Traxxas vehicles already...

And offroad class isn't what I call cheap so... Stick to the Slash

Yes I know, but they are set-up for racing and being that I am only 15 I don't have money to replace broken parts when its race time! So I'd rather something else just for bashing that I don't have to worry about breaking.

Unfortunately there's no car tougher than a Slash. It has the simplest drivetrain around and is the SCT with less parts on the assembly.

How about get a 10th scale 2WD buggy, and make yourself a better driver.

T4.1 or XXX-T stadium truck would be some good choices to consider.

Have you considered an electric monster truck? I recently bought a 1/12 scale Tamiya midnight pumpkin and it's a blast to drive. I recommend you look at the Tamiya kits. You can get them for just over $100+electronics and there's a bunch of kits to choose from. They only go about 15-20mph stock and the 1/12 models get run over by short course trucks but they are fun and there's a few others among them like the HPI wheely king, redcat racing ground pounder(only thing redcat makes that has a ton of part support) or a stampede. These are only a few of the many durable trucks available and their cheap and easy(to fix that is)

4x4 Stampede would be a good choice as you have a slash already, and most parts are interchangeable. This way if your slash happens to break something on race day, you can most likely borrow the part from the stampede so you can finish your racing.

A buddy of mine has the 4x4pede and it takes quite a lot of abuse before breaking something. Like was said above, they all eventually break.

If our 15 and on a budget, cheeap is going to be what you already have. Look for some rpm parts, bigger bumpers, or just quit hitting things. It is tough when your on a budget, but buying additional parts is still less expensive than buying and maintaining another, separate truck.
