It all depends on how much your looking to spend. Then its going to come down to personal preference........ I personally only run savox servos and spektrum rx/tx's but thats just me........

Other good ones are:

Servo's:

Hitec, or JR if money's no issue, budget wise hobbypartz has some good ones for real cheap.......

RX/TX:

Futaba, Airtronics, budget wise hobbypartz sells the flysky gt3b for real cheap.......

If on a budget get the flysky gt3b tx/rx that cost 35 which is a steal for the price, and servo the tg-pro ones run around 10 bucks which will work but def. not the best out there....

This. I have this servo and I have used it in a 4wd SC truck. It would work great for a 2wd SC.

Default servo

ok i believe u said you where a kid? 12 yrs old? no job? its ok.. Savox makes a servo that retails for $39.99 .15 sec at 6.0v, 115 to 120ish of torque, also u need to run a CAP,hobby stores know what CAPS are, there $7.99. perfect for 10th scale off road, i ran this servo for 5 months in my losi ten te converted to electric. it had plenty of speed, u wanna run at least 120lbs of torque for off road. short course heavy and big front tires, plus u want it to steer fast, it will help you improve your driving, slow steering, consist of slow driving.. look on this forum for a inexpensive radio, start off with a Spektrum, or a futaba 2pk, good luck..

the most reason im doing this is because my sc10 will not go straight for anything i even went to mlocal hobby shop and asked them to set it right still not going straight i belive its the servo since there a plastick piece of C!@P and im 14 so im looking for a job here in illinois they have some for 14 yearsold

Want to have a decent equipment and not spend a lot of money?

Get my combo. Spektrum DX3C, $129.99, fully computerised, three channels, 2.4GHz, expos, dual rates, mixings... basically more functions than you will ever need. And then get a Savox 1251, or if you want the extra torque, or don't fancy low profile servos, get a Savox 1257. The 1251 is around $60 and the 1257 is around $70.
